Letz Get Lit 2444 is a multi-award-winning event hire and styling business servicing Port Macquarie, the Hastings and surrounding areas.

From weddings and corporate events to birthdays, school formals and large-scale celebrations, we’re the team behind the scenes bringing events to life!

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic people to join our team.

We have two potential positions available and are open to employing one person who can fulfil both roles or two separate people.

POSITION 1 – Warehouse Assistant & Event Crew

A hands-on role focused on warehouse operations, deliveries and event installations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing, picking and packing event hire orders.

- Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers.

- Delivering and collecting event hire equipment.

- Setting up and packing down event equipment at venues.

- Installing marquee lights, backdrops, furniture and other hire items.

- Cleaning, maintaining and organising hire equipment.

- Assisting with general warehouse organisation and stock management.

- Ensuring equipment is returned, checked and stored correctly.

What we’re looking for:

- Current manual driver’s licence (essential).

- Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and manual handling.

- Available to work weekends and at least one weekday.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or within a team.

- Organised with good attention to detail.

- Confident driving larger vehicles (highly regarded).





- Experience towing and reversing trailers (desirable).

- Previous warehouse, delivery, logistics or event setup experience is an advantage but not essential.

POSITION 2 – Event Styling & Creative Crew

A creative, hands-on role focused on transforming spaces and bringing event styling concepts to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up and packing down weddings, parties, corporate events and celebrations.

- Creating balloon garlands, balloon arches and balloon installations.

- Installing and styling backdrops, plinths, signage and decorative displays.

- Assisting with ceremony and reception styling.

- Setting up centrepieces, table decorations and other styling elements.

- Preparing and packing styling equipment before events.

- Ensuring all event setups are beautifully presented and completed to a high standard.

- Assisting with general warehouse preparation and organisation.

What we’re looking for:

- A creative eye and genuine interest in event styling.

- Solid attention to detail and pride in presentation.

- Availability on weekends and at least one weekday.

- Physically capable of lifting, carrying and installing event equipment.

- Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.





- Previous balloon styling or event decorating experience is highly regarded.

- Willingness to learn new styling techniques.

- A driver’s licence is highly regarded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our events don’t operate on a standard 9–5 schedule!

These are casual positions with hours varying depending on event bookings. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and occasional late-night pack-downs.

You’ll work across our Wauchope warehouse and various event venues throughout Port Macquarie and the surrounding region.

We’re a small, hardworking team, and everyone pitches in to get the job done.
