Top Gun Handyman Services is an established and growing commercial building maintenance company seeking a reliable, skilled and motivated individual to join our close-knit team. We provide a diverse range of commercial maintenance services, from reactive repairs and preventative maintenance through to larger building improvements and refurbishment projects. You'll work both independently and alongside our experienced team, attending various commercial sites throughout Melbourne.
Key responsibilities
- General carpentry and building maintenance
- Door, lock, hinge and hardware repairs
- Plastering, painting and minor tiling
- Fencing, decking and external repairs
- General property repairs and improvements
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Commercial refurbishment and renovation projects
- Accurately document completed work, including photos, labour and materials
About you
- Proven experience in carpentry, handyman services or commercial building maintenance
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- Working with Children Check and Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain both before commencing relevant work
- Capable of working independently without constant supervision
- Ability to work independently and follow workplace safety procedures
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Takes genuine pride in workmanship and attention to detail
- Honest, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Can manage time effectively and complete jobs efficiently
- A trade qualification is highly regarded, but demonstrated experience, practical ability and the right attitude are equally important
