About the role

The Gaming Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, qualified customer service to patrons within the gaming area. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, assisting customers with enquiries, monitoring gaming activities and ensuring compliance with venue policies, responsible gambling practices and relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service to all patrons.

- Assist customers with gaming machine enquiries and general venue information.

- Monitor the gaming area to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of gaming machines and surrounding areas.

- Respond to customer requests, feedback and complaints professionally.

- Identify and respond appropriately to signs of gambling-related harm in accordance with responsible gambling procedures.

- Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol, responsible conduct of gambling and applicable gaming regulations.

- Complete required documentation,



incident reports and shift handovers accurately.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.

- Work collaboratively with the gaming and hospitality team to support smooth venue operations.

About you

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.

- Current Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) competency.

- Current Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) competency, where required by the venue or applicable regulations.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- A friendly, approachable and professional attitude.

- Solid attention to detail and the ability to follow policies and procedures.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

- Commitment to responsible gambling, patron wellbeing and regulatory compliance.
