The Caledonian Restaurant & Bar is located in the center of town and has been the beating heart of Wonthaggi for over 116 years.
This beautiful historic building is undergoing a major renovation, giving the venue a fresh, Modern Mediterranean feel. We’re now looking for the right team to bring our menu alive.
We are looking for a back of house team who are passionate, hardworking and take pride in their work. You will be in a kitchen where you will be challenged, supported and encouraged to grow.
The roles available are a Sous Chef, Apprentice Chef and a Casual Kitchen Hand.
All applicants must:
- Be passionate about creating an outstanding dining experience and wants to help make this one of the best places to eat in town.
- Is reliable and available to work lunch shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
- Follow recipes and specifications with precision
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
