About the role

Alchemy All Metal Fabricators is looking for a motivated Draftsperson to join the team in Cairns City. This role goes well beyond traditional drafting. You'll be involved in concept development, detailed shop drawings, renders and as-built documentation, while supporting fabrication, manufacturing, installation and project delivery across a wide range of construction, engineering and civil projects. If you enjoy practical, buildable design and want variety in your work, this is a chance to step away from a drafting-only role and gain exposure across the full project lifecycle. Depending on your skills and interests, you'll also have the opportunity to take on other areas of the business and help run it.

Key responsibilities

- Producing and managing concepts, renders, shop drawings and as-builts

- Assisting with product design and fabrication processes

- Supporting project delivery and project management activities

- Taking on more responsibility, including business and project tasks, as your experience grows





About you

- 1-2 years' skilled drafting experience using Inventor or SolidWorks

- Trade background highly regarded

- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on mindset

- Keen to learn, contribute and grow within a multidisciplinary team

- Engineering students and recent graduates with relevant experience encouraged to apply

- Australian work rights required
