Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

The successful candidates will be part of a tight knit team and will have responsibility for

assisting the Restaurant Manager and Chefs with the planning and controlling of kitchen

operations.

Job Summary:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according

to our a la carte and catering menu. You will work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to

ensure efficient food production while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and

presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.

 Assist in food preparation, including for in house functions, ensuring timely and high-

quality service.

 Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food storage areas.

 Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always followed.





 Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef or kitchen supervisor.

 Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

 Follow portion control guidelines to minimize food waste.

Skills & Qualifications:

 Formal qualifications as a Cook or a minimum of 12 months experience as a Cook.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders

simultaneously.

 Strong attention to detail and presentation.

 Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

 Valuable communication and teamwork skills.

 Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to cook tandoori and curry would be advantageous but not essential.

Salary range $75,000 - to $80,000
