Lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to advancing specialist forensic medical services across Queensland. As Clinical Director Forensic Medicine Queensland, you will provide senior leadership and strategic direction for this statewide service, shaping its vision, performance and future growth. The position offers a generous remuneration package, including a Motor Vehicle Allowance, Career development Allowance, Attraction and Retention Allowance (35% of base salary), and a Clinical Manager's Allowance.

What you'll do:

The Clinical Director, Forensic Medicine provides strategic, clinical and operational leadership for the delivery of contemporary evidence-based forensic medical services. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in clinical forensic medicine practices through the provision of expert medico-legal advice and specialist forensic medical services to government agencies and departments.

Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Medical Practitioner.
Possession of Fellowship of the Australian College of Legal Medicine and/or the Royal Australian College of Pathologists Faculty of Clinical Forensic Medicine (or having satisfactorily completed all of the academic requirements pending election).
