About the role

Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician at HRB Motors Pty Ltd. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our growing workshop team.

Key responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using professional diagnostic equipment.
Repair and replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and suspension components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical defects.
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding using automotive scan tools.
Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Work independently and collaboratively within the workshop.

About you
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or equivalent qualification.




Relevant experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
Robust mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
Experience using modern automotive diagnostic scan tools.
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Valid Australian driver's licence.
