To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Demonstrated ability to create and implement menus that actively support health food programs.
In-depth knowledge of proper food preparation techniques, food storage, and food safety.
Proficiency in workplace health and safety practices.
Extensive experience in stock management, including ordering, receiving, storing, and performing stocktakes to ensure adequate supplies.
Commitment to adhering to hygiene regulations, including maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas, and conducting routine cleaning.
Experience in supervising, coordinating, and supporting volunteers and staff in a food service workplace.
Skilled in setting up and packing away for events, ensuring smooth operations.
