SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHERS & ASSISTANTS WANTED FOR OUR 2027 SEASON

advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography for over 43 years. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our busy photographic team in our Victorian Branch located in Heidelberg West.

We service schools across the Melbourne metropolitan area.

We are looking for people interested to be trained as group and portrait photographers and photographic assistants. These in-the-field roles require both working independently and as part of the team. All equipment, training and uniforms are supplied. You will be paid to attend training from the 21st of January 2027, to start work in the Victorian School Term 1.

These casual positions will be 3 to 5 days work per week, with time off during and around school holidays The successful candidates will:
Enjoy working with children of all ages
Enjoy working outside an office workplace!
Be warm and friendly
Be organised and reliable




Have an eye for detail
Know how to deliver a outstanding customer experience
Be energetic and happy working in an active hands-on role and as part of a fun team
Be an Australian resident with an Australian driving licence and have dependable transport to and from our Heidelberg West office or be able to drive to jobs directly
Be available for early starts and to work variable length days (not just school hours)
Be aware that this is a busy physical role, with standing and lifting involved

The following are desirable.
A knowledge of photography
Basic computer knowledge.

A covering letter outlining your skills and experience is preferred together with you resume.

You are required to secure your own Working With Children Check (WWC) to be able to work in the school setting. Details of how to apply will be provided if you are offered the role and your clearance must be in place prior to working at any Victorian schools.
