The role is based in Roma, working Monday to Friday supporting the WIS Superintendents and wider WIS team. The Stores/Warehousing & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of systems and procedures, coordinate the warehouse, stores and inventory management functions to provide a continuous supply of materials, equipment and consumables that ensure productive business unit operations.

About The Role
Plan and implement an productive warehouse layout and ensure the warehouse facility operates safely.
Develop and maintain inventory control systems, and warehousing processes and procedures such as goods issue and receipt, order expediting and OSD returns to ensure adequate supply.
Ensure storage systems are operationally effective.
Ensure all housed inventory and equipment are stored safely and environmentally responsibly.




Perform regimented periodic inventory audits and stock takes to ensure inventory control system accuracy.
Conduct quality inspections on inventory and equipment before storing or rerouting.
Work with the internal stakeholders to establish demand forecasting and planning.
Maintain effective communication with all vendors and stakeholders when coordinating a delivery schedule, including ensuring updates on potential delays are being provided.
Control costs in accordance with agreed limits.
Be the primary point of contact for all supply governance and compliance issues and requests including facilitation of internal and external audits.
Handle, transport and store explosives as per Australian Standards.
Develop a waste management system for the warehouse to reduce environmental impact and costs.
Ensure all warehouse documentation and records are updated and archived appropriately.
Establish robust relationships with transport and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping and receiving processes.
