We’re looking for an experienced Service Desk Officer to join a large, complex ICT environment in Brisbane on an initial 3-month contract.

You’ll be providing first-line IT support to internal users, managing incidents and service requests, troubleshooting common technology issues and escalating to specialist teams where required.

What you’ll be doing
Provide high-quality Level 1 IT support to internal users
Troubleshoot hardware, software and telecommunications issues
Log, categorise and prioritise incidents and service requests
Escalate more complex issues to appropriate technical teams
Monitor incidents to ensure service levels and response times are met
Identify recurring issues and trends across Service Desk requests
Liaise with users and internal ICT teams throughout incident resolution
Assist with Service Desk reporting and administration
Maintain a robust customer-service focus across all support interactions

What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a Service Desk,



Help Desk or Level 1 IT Support role
Experience working within an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment
Experience using Service Desk / ticketing systems
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritise multiple requests and work effectively under pressure
A collaborative and skilled approach
