Parts Interpreter / Parts Sales – Truck Dealership, Dandenong South VIC. Full time.

About us: Automotive Sales Group (ASG) is Victoria's official importer and distributor of Sitrak heavy trucks, operating from Dandenong South since 2016. We back our trucks with an in-house service workshop and genuine spare parts stocked in office.

The role: We're looking for a Parts Interpreter to look after parts sales for our customers and workshop. You'll be the first point of contact for parts enquiries by phone, email and over the counter.

Responsibilities
Answer phone, email and counter enquiries from customers and our workshop
Identify the correct parts using catalogues and part numbers
Prepare quotes and process parts sales
Order stock from suppliers and follow up on back orders
Receive, put away and pick stock, and help with stocktakes
Pack and dispatch orders,



with occasional local deliveries
Build valuable relationships with fleet, trade and walk-in customers

Must-haves:
Parts interpreter or parts sales experience (truck, automotive or machinery parts)
Confident on the phone with robust customer service skills
Good computer skills and attention to detail
Reliable, organised team player
Current driver's licence

Nice to have: Heavy vehicle or Chinese truck brand parts experience, forklift licence Why ASG: supportive close-knit team, training on the Sitrak parts range, a growing brand with genuine parts stocked on-site.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
