XTecGen is an independent materials testing laboratory specialising in testing construction products. We are a NATA accredited testing facility AS ISO 17025:2018. We're a growing laboratory, always looking to expand our testing scope.

The role:

As our Laboratory Technician, you'll carry out general materials testing and help keep our lab running smoothly, safely and in line with NATA requirements.

Key responsibilities:
Perform general materials testing in accordance with approved test methods, procedures and client requirements
Conduct testing to NATA-accredited methods and help maintain compliance with NATA accreditation requirements
Prepare accurate test records, reports and supporting documentation in line with our quality procedures
Assist with preparing, operating and maintaining the laboratory.
Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, processes and efficiency




Provide technical support for client testing requirements and assist with client enquiries
Follow and promote protected work practices and contribute to continuous safety improvements
Other reasonable duties as required
