About the role

Join the dynamic team at McDonald's Esperance as a Department Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service at our restaurant located in Esperance WA 6450. As a Department Manager, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the restaurant and contribute to the overall success of the McDonald's brand.

Key responsibilities
Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling cash and stock control
Running a department within the business framework - rostering, inventory, hiring
Ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety
Providing ongoing coaching and support to crew members to develop their skills and grow within the organisation
Analysing sales data and staffing requirements to drive operational efficiency
Acting as a brand ambassador and role model, embodying the McDonald's values and culture
Collaborating with the restaurant management team to implement strategic initiatives

About you
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry

Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle daily operational challenges
Numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data to drive process improvements
A versatile and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment
Must be willing to relocate to or near Esperance
Australian work rights and legal eligibility to work in Australia
Available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, weekends and overnight as required
