About us

SyncPay is an early-stage Melbourne fintech building the intelligence layer behind everyday payments. Our product brand, Klarifii, gives merchants free fraud and sales tools and gives banks smart receipts, fraud signals and better customer experience. We're small, quick and pre-revenue, and you'll be one of the first commercial hires.

The role

You'll own how Klarifii gets into the hands of merchants and retailers. That means working out which segments to go after first, what to say to them and how to win them, then doing the work yourself: running the pipeline, taking meetings, closing deals and bringing back what you learn. You'll work directly with the founders and the product team, and what you hear from merchants will shape what we build next.

What you'll do
Build and run our merchant and retail go-to-market: segments, positioning, messaging, pricing input and launch plans
Open doors with retailers, POS providers and merchant groups, and carry deals from first call to signed
Create the sales material we don't have yet: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts
Track what's working using pipeline, conversion and adoption numbers,



and drop what isn't
Feed merchant feedback straight into the product roadmap
Represent SyncPay at industry events, partner meetings and retail forums

What you'll bring
A track record selling to or partnering with retailers or merchants (retail, POS, payments, acquiring, ecommerce platforms or merchant SaaS)
Startup experience: you've worked somewhere early, with no playbook, and built one
Hands-on GTM experience: positioning, segmentation, launches and sales enablement
Comfort with numbers. You can read market data and pipeline metrics and act on them
Clear, persuasive writing and presenting
An existing network across Australian retail or merchant services is a strong plus
Knowledge of payments, fraud or chargebacks is a plus, not a requirement
