We’re looking for an experienced Senior Chef or Kitchen Lead to take charge of the kitchen at our busy riverside café in Bicton.

We serve breakfast and lunch, so this is a outstanding prospect for someone who enjoys daytime work and is looking for a role with no evening shifts.

About the role

You’ll lead the kitchen team and help keep service running smoothly while maintaining high standards for food quality, consistency and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service
Managing food costs, recipe costing and menu margins
Monitoring food wastage and portion control
Managing stock, ordering, rotation and preparation
Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
Overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operation





About you You’ll be an experienced chef who is confident taking charge, leading a team and maintaining standards in a busy kitchen. Weekend availability is essential.
