Transglaze Pty Ltd specialises in window and glazing solutions for the public transport, architecture and construction industries. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Glazier to join our team on a full time basis at our Dandenong South facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Determining the type, size and dimensions of glass required for specific projects.
Measuring, marking and cutting glass to the required specifications using patterns and templates.
Laying glass over patterns on padded tables and positioning glass in jigs for processing.
Inspecting glass for defects and marking areas requiring removal or correction.
Breaking off excess glass using appropriate notched tools and equipment.
Installing glass and mirrors in windows and other designated applications.




Smoothing and finishing rough glass edges using belt sanders and other suitable equipment.
Coating, etching, trimming and treating glass to achieve specified finishes and special effects.
Following workplace health and safety requirements when handling, processing and installing glass.

Skills or Experience Required:

Applicants should possess
A relevant AQF Certificate III, AQF Certificate IV qualification, and/or at least three years of full time work experience in a similar glazing role.
A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements relevant to glazing operations.
Robust attention to detail and the ability to achieve accurate measurements and high-quality finishes.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
