Float Operator (MC Driver) – Prime Mover & Low Loader | Sydney & Regional NSW

OCON Services is seeking an experienced Float Operator (MC Licence) to support the transport of plant and equipment across civil and infrastructure projects throughout NSW.

This is a hands-on role suited to an operator confident in loading, securing, and transporting a wide range of mobile plant and crushing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Operate prime mover and float (low loader)
Load and unload mobile plant and crushing equipment safely
Transport machinery across Sydney and regional NSW
Ensure all loads are secured in line with compliance and safety standards
Conduct pre-start checks and maintain equipment
Work closely with site teams and supervisors

Requirements
MC Licence (essential)
Proven experience driving prime mover and float/low loader




Experience loading/unloading heavy mobile plant (excavators, crushers, etc.)
Solid understanding of load restraint and safety requirements
White Card (preferred)
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Location & Travel
Sydney-based preferred
Required to work short rosters in regional NSW
Meals and accommodation provided when working away

What’s on Offer
$40–$50 per hour (depending on experience)
Penalties + Site Allowance + Productivity Allowance
