Test Planning and Case Development: They create structured test plans, define test settings, and develop test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge scenarios. Test data is prepared to include all possible values for the data types involved
ETL Test Execution: Testers execute test cases to validate the ETL process. This includes verifying data extraction from multiple sources, transformation according to business rules, and accurate loading into target systems. They perform backend testing using SQL queries,

Data Quality and Integrity Checks: Ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and consistency is a key responsibility. ETL testers check for data duplication, truncation, and adherence to business rules. They also perform regular data quality inspections and validate that all expected data is present in the target system
