South West Kitchen Company is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team in the South West, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for producing detailed plans and drawings for our cabinet making projects, ensuring the effective and accurate realisation of our clients visions.

Key Responsibilities
Interpreting client design briefs, architectural drawings and specifications to prepare detailed technical and manufacturing drawings;
Preparing detailed cabinetry, joinery and shop drawings using CAD/design software;
Preparing and optimising drawings and digital files for CNC machining and production;
Reviewing designs for dimensional accuracy and manufacturing feasibility;
Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, clients and workshop staff regarding design and production requirements;




Incorporating site variations and design changes into revised drawings;
Maintaining appropriate drawing and design version control; and
Preparing material requirements and coordinating materials required for manufacture and installation.

Skill & Experience
Proven experience as a Draftsperson or similar design role, ideally within the cabinet making or construction industry
Robust technical drawing and documentation skills with an eye for detail
Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical, functional designs
Problem-solving mindset with a cooperative approach to working with the production team
Excellent communication
