About the role

Working closely with the Directors and construction teams, you'll help guide projects from sales acceptance through to construction readiness. You'll prepare and update drawings, organise contracts and documentation, and keep clients and colleagues informed along the way. This role would suit someone who enjoys both the technical detail of residential drafting and all other areas of building administration.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and amend residential drawings using Autocad, including approved design changes, client selections and project requirements
Incorporate information from engineers, surveyors and other consultants
Keep drawings current, clearly organised and consistent with contracts and specifications
Prepare building contracts and associated documents using company templates and approved pricing
Assist with documentation for building approvals and construction, seeking specialist guidance where needed
Check that client details, designs, inclusions and supporting information are complete and consistent
Coordinate approvals, signatures and documentation
Track project progress, outstanding information and next steps,



following up reports and client decisions
Work with sales, consultants and construction staff to compile documentation and prepare organised handover packs for the construction team
Maintain accurate client and project records, correspondence and filing

About you
Experience in residential drafting using Autocad is a must
The ability to read building plans and specifications, and prepare or amend drawings using CAD software
Valuable organisation skills and a careful approach to documentation
Friendly, skilled communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning business systems
A willingness to work with others, solve problems and seek guidance when needed
Qualifications in building design, drafting or construction is a must
Experience working for a residential builder or familiarity with NSW approval processes is desirable
