We’re a boutique commercial and technology law firm with a specialist gaming and gambling practice. We advise high-profile Australian and international clients on commercial, technology, payments, privacy, IP, disputes and regulatory matters.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a commercial lawyer with 2–5 years’ PQE who wants to build a specialist niche in gaming law. Gaming or gambling experience is highly regarded, but we also encourage applicants with solid commercial fundamentals and a genuine interest in the sector. You’ll work directly with our principal, a recognised industry leader, who will closely support your professional development.

What you’ll do
Draft and negotiate commercial, technology and payments agreements
Prepare platform terms, T&Cs; and promotional terms
Advise on corporate/commercial, privacy, IP and disputes matters
Advise on gaming regulation, licensing and compliance across Australian and international markets
Act as outsourced in-house counsel for online gaming and tech businesses worldwide

You’ll have direct client contact and real responsibility, with close support from the principal.

About you




2–5 years’ PQE in commercial, technology, corporate or regulatory law
Admitted in Australia with a current practising certificate
Confident drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Clear communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
A genuine interest in gaming, tech or regulated industries
Highly regarded: experience in gaming/gambling law, AML, privacy/GDPR, payments, or US/EU frameworks

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + super, depending on experience

Because our clients span time zones, the role sometimes involves calls outside standard hours. In return we’re flexible about when and where you work.
