About the Role

As part of our amazing kitchen team, you will:
Assist in preparing high-quality, healthy, and nutritious meals for residents
Ensure all allergies, intolerances, texture-modified diets, and individual dietary requirements are carefully followed
Maintain Food Safety standards, including kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
Shifts are available between 6:00am – 2:00pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

This is a casual position, so flexibility and reliability are essential. Availability to cover staff leave, including short-notice and wide-ranging shifts, will be highly regarded. The position may be required to work at either our Cooroy or Tewantin facility.

About You

You will ideally have




Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, or commercial kitchen workplace
Experience preparing meals for special diets, including allergies, intolerances, soft foods, and pureed meals
Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen
A caring, respectful, and skilled attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
