About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established and highly respected chartered accounting firm based in Sydney that is looking to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a up-to-date, people-focused firm that works closely with a diverse portfolio of SMEs, family businesses and high-net-worth clients. The Role

Working alongside a friendly and experienced team, you'll manage bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients while providing accurate and timely financial support.

Your responsibilities will include
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll processing, STP and superannuation
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparing management reports and financial data
Maintaining accurate client records
Liaising directly with clients and responding to bookkeeping queries




Supporting accountants with year-end preparation

About You
Previous bookkeeping experience within a public practice accounting firm
Strong working knowledge of Xero (MYOB experience is also beneficial)
Experience processing payroll and preparing BAS
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented team
