About the role

Anavera Group is looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Payroll Officer to join our friendly team. This is a adaptable part-time opportunity that allows you to balance work with family commitments, with hours that can work around school drop-off and pick-up times.

Key responsibilities
Handle NDIS claiming and payment follow-ups
Perform bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
Process supplier invoices and prepare payments
Follow up outstanding invoices and overdue accounts
Process payroll, superannuation and employee entitlements
Assist with BAS preparation and GST reporting
Reconcile supplier statements and creditor accounts
Monitor business expenses and financial transactions
Assist with cash flow management and financial reporting

About you
Essential experience in bookkeeping, payroll and NDIS claiming
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
Proficiency in Xero and general bookkeeping processes




Experience using ShiftCare or other NDIS care management or CRM systems
Robust attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Good communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive, reliable and well-organised approach to work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
