We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker / Welder to support our fabrication, piping, maintenance and site installation projects.

Location: Melbourne Area

Employment type: Full time / Casual / Project-based

Pay: 35/Hr-55/Hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols and job specifications.
Measure, mark out, cut, prepare, fit and assemble steel components.
Perform welding using MIG, TIG and/or Stick processes within your qualifications and experience.
Fabricate and repair structural steel, pipework and stainless steel components as assigned.
Check dimensions, fit-up and weld quality against drawings and project requirements.
Follow approved welding procedures, inspection requirements and material traceability controls.
Complete job records and report defects, hazards and equipment issues.
Follow company safety procedures, SWMS, permit requirements and site instructions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated boilermaking and welding experience.




Ability to interpret drawings and work accurately with minimal supervision.
Experience using fabrication tools and workshop equipment safely.
Solid attention to quality, safety and teamwork.
Valid Australian work rights.
Construction White Card for site work.

HIGHLY REGARDED
Current welder qualifications relevant to coded welding work.
Pressure piping, stainless steel or shutdown maintenance experience.
Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, dogging or rigging tickets.
Current driver’s licence.
