R & J Building Services is an established Canberra-based building and carpentry company specialising in residential and commercial construction.
We work with some of Canberra's leading builders and construction companies, delivering a wide range of projects across the ACT and surrounding regions.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing team.
About the Role
You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of carpentry and building works, including:
Timber and steel wall framing
Roof truss installation
Floor joists and flooring systems
External cladding and roofing
Fix-out and fit-off carpentry
Residential and commercial construction projects
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have
Current White Card
Asbestos Awareness training
Silica Awareness training
Current driver's licence
Reliable transport to and from work
Australian citizenship (required for government projects)
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work well in a team
Positive attitude towards workplace safety
Please note:
We are not currently recruiting mature-age apprentices.
