1947 Café is looking for an experienced and reliable barista to join our family-run café in Boronia.

We serve Palestinian traditional food and Middle Eastern-inspired breakfast and lunch, alongside quality coffee and a range of drinks. We offer a friendly, welcoming and relaxed working workplace and are looking for someone who takes pride in their coffee and enjoys being part of a team.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of barista experience
Employment type: Full time or subcontractor arrangement

About the role
Preparing and serving high-quality coffee consistently
Operating and maintaining the espresso machine and coffee equipment
Preparing smoothies and other drinks from our menu
Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
Maintaining a clean,



organised and hygienic workspace
Working efficiently as part of a small team

About you
At least 1 year of barista experience
Confident with espresso preparation, milk texturing and latte art
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
Friendly, positive and comfortable interacting with customers
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Available for full time employment or a subcontractor arrangement
