Are you passionate about food and ready to be a vital part of a agile kitchen team? Heyder & Shears is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our Head Office kitchen in East Perth.

Working under the guidance of our Kitchen Management Team you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. From assisting with food prep to maintaining a spotless workspace, your support helps our chefs focus on what they do best – creating exceptional cuisine.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting in basic food preparation – washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment
Washing dishes, cookware, and utensils to keep service flowing
Organising supplies and helping with inventory management




Ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling procedures
Receiving and storing deliveries following food safety guidelines
Supporting event setup and breakdown as needed
Following strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Providing general assistance to the kitchen team as required

What We’re Looking For:
A team player with a solid work ethic and great attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace
Good communication and time management skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not essential)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $40.27 per hour
