About the role
Compassionate Care Network is looking for a caring, reliable Support Worker to provide in-home personal care to a woman in her late 60s living with Multiple Sclerosis in Templestowe.
These shifts are short to start with. For the right person, there’s potential to move into longer 4–5 hour shifts.
What you’ll be doing
Personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and grooming
Secure transfers using a ceiling or mobile hoist and a Sara Stedy
Repositioning and helping her get ready for bed
Meal preparation and light domestic tasks as needed
Supporting her comfort, dignity and independence at home
What we’re looking for
Experience with personal care
Experience or certification in hoist and Sara Stedy transfers
Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing or Disability, or equivalent (preferred)
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
Current First Aid and CPR
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
