A great opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer / Team Leader who enjoys land development, likes having plenty happening at once, and wants genuine responsibility for a civil drafting team.

Based in an excellent South Brisbane location, this established consultancy has a strong pipeline of subdivision work and is looking for someone capable of taking ownership of its civil drafting division.

You'll be working across multiple subdivision projects simultaneously, so this will suit someone who enjoys variety, understands priorities and can keep projects and people moving.

The role will include:
Leading and coordinating the civil drafting/design team
Managing multiple land development and subdivision projects
Producing and overseeing high-quality 12D design
Reviewing designs and maintaining drafting standards
Working across roads, drainage, earthworks and associated subdivision infrastructure
Coordinating workloads, deadlines and project priorities
Liaising with engineers, project managers, clients and authorities
Mentoring and developing less experienced designers




Helping improve systems and the overall performance of the civil drafting division.

Ideally, you will have:
Solid land development and subdivision experience
Experience with MUSIC and DRAINS highly regarded
The ability to lead and mentor Civil Designers and Drafters
Excellent written and verbal communication
Valuable organisational and project coordination skills
The personality to work within a genuinely cooperative team.

And yes, a sense of humour would be useful. This is a qualified consultancy, but it is also a friendly, down-to-earth environment where people enjoy working together.
