FULL-TIME TEAM LEADER

Carlos Cantina is looking for a confident, hands-on and reliable Team Leader to join our team!

We’re a busy Mexican restaurant where great food, great drinks and excellent customer service go hand in hand.

We’re looking for someone who is switched-on, proactive and ready to lead by example. You need to be comfortable taking charge during service, supporting the team and making sure standards are consistently met.

The Role
Leading and supporting the front-of-house team during service
Ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations
Delivering excellent customer service and handling customer feedback professionally
Training and supporting staff to follow our service standards
Monitoring staff performance, punctuality and presentation
Ensuring staff follow company procedures and policies
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and restaurant presentation
Overseeing opening and closing duties
Supporting food and beverage service during busy periods
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control
Communicating effectively with management and the team
Taking initiative and resolving day-to-day operational issues

About You
Previous hospitality experience essential




Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual and professional
Able to hold staff accountable and maintain standards
Proactive and able to think on your feet
Robust customer service skills
Comfortable handling busy services and competing priorities
Willing to lead by example and jump in wherever needed
Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings
Available to work other evenings throughout the week as required

Pay: $65,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year
