Client Services Officer - Stockbroking (Sydney CBD)

About the role

A well-regarded Australian stockbroking and wealth firm is looking for a Client Services Officer. You'll be the first point of contact for advisers on client onboarding and ongoing client service, and you'll work closely with the Client Services Manager to run the team day to day.

The team sits within Middle Office and works closely with an outsourced back office provider. Full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing
Making sure recent client applications meet the firm's identification requirements and the legislative requirements
Setting up and maintaining static data on client trading accounts
Facilitating CHESS sponsorship for new accounts
Processing ABN/ACN and TFN updates, and changes or corrections of trustees
Checking the quality of team members' work and making sure internal controls,



market rules and regulations are followed
Managing daily workflow, prioritising critical tasks and keeping service levels on track
Completing and signing off daily checklists and QA reports
Helping manage key person risk through training and cross-training across the team
Supporting projects and data analysis as the business needs
Helping build a robust team culture and look after people's wellbeing

About you
Experience in client services or a similar role, or a graduate with a deisre to learn
Robust organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
