Food preparation assistance: Help cooks and sushi chefs with basic prep work, such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, or assisting with rice preparation.
Stock and storage: Receive, check, and store food deliveries and dry goods in refrigerator, freezer, and pantries.
General support: Assist the kitchen team during busy service hours by fetching items, cleaning stations, and taking out rubbish.
Kitchen cleanliness: Wash cooking utensils, pots, pans. Maintain hygiene standards across all food prep areas, floors, bench tops, and waste disposal stations.
Pay: $26.44 – $28.10 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 per week
