Your Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Legal Counsel responsible for our Australian Automotive Business in a highly agile and international workplace. The position will be based in Sydney, Australia.

You will especially support sales and after-sales related legal matters of the automotive business of Xiaomi with your proven expertise and pragmatic, business oriented and pro-active advice. The ideal candidate may develop into a team leader role in the automotive business of Australia.

Your Job
Legal Advice and Research on Laws, Regulations and Policies
Draft, Review and Negotiate a wide variety of national and international contracts
Drafting of Guidelines, Policies and Contract Templates
Review of Marketing Material and Marketing Campaigns




Communication with Regulatory Authorities
Coordination of Disputes and Claims, including managing external counsels
Support and Advice for sales, after-sales, finance, tax, HR and other departments
Corporate Governance Matters
Liaison with HQ Legal Team

Your Profile
Minimum 8 years of experience gained as an in-house lawyer in the automotive industry, minimum 10 years of experience in the legal field;
Full proficiency in English;
Solid commercial sense and pragmatism;
Being able to prioritize and handle variable deadlines.
