SC Civil is a family-owned civil construction company based in Adelaide's northern suburbs. We're looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Excavator Operator with experience in civil construction, particularly trenching and underground services, who takes pride in their work and is willing to get in and get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating excavators safely and efficiently across civil construction projects
Trenching and excavation for stormwater, sewer and water mains
Working around existing underground services
Reading and working from plans and specifications
Completing daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance
Assisting ground crews with pipe laying and general civil works when required
Maintaining a protected, clean and organised worksite

What We're Looking For




Minimum 1 year experience operating excavators in civil construction
Experience in trenching and underground services essential
Relevant plant tickets and competencies
Construction White Card
Current driver's licence
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
HR Licence (desirable)
