About Us

Oliver Brown Macarthur Square is looking for a passionate, reliable and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team. We are a café serving breakfast and a variety of delicious meals, and we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality food and excellent service.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their cooking, pays attention to detail and can maintain consistent food quality during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes, including eggs, omelettes, fish and chips, and other café-style meals.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to Oliver Brown’s quality standards.
Maintain consistency in portion sizes, taste, presentation and food quality.
Prepare ingredients and organise the kitchen before service.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Monitor stock levels, minimise food wastage and assist with stock rotation.




Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch service periods.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Follow recipes, kitchen procedures and management instructions.

Requirements
Previous experience as a breakfast chef, café chef or cook is preferred.
Ability to prepare breakfast and café-style dishes confidently and efficiently.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and well-presented, with a positive attitude.
Ability to work mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.
