About the role A quick-growing AI team is hiring senior technical leaders to design and deliver agentic AI for large organisations. Demand is running ahead of headcount, so you’ll help shape how the team builds, not just join it.

Many of these organisations won’t use off-the-shelf, vendor-native tooling. You’ll design and build custom solutions on open frameworks and take them from concept to production.

What you’ll do
Lead engineering teams while staying close to the technical detail
Design agent, retrieval and tool-integration architectures that hold up in production
Shape solutions with senior stakeholders and explain the trade-offs in plain language
Mentor engineers and set technical standards
At more senior levels, help shape current work and grow the team

What you’ll bring
A strong engineering or architecture background, with the depth to hold the technical conversation
Hands-on delivery of AI agents or LLM solutions in production,



not just proofs of concept
Experience building on custom or open stacks (LangGraph, MCP or similar), not only packaged vendor tools
The ability to explain complex work simply, from engineers through to executives
Experience leading engineers and working with senior stakeholders
Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Valuable to have
Hands-on Claude or Anthropic experience, or related certification
Consulting, forward-deployed or pre-sales experience
Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
Regulated sector experience, such as financial services or government

What’s on offer
Total package of $180k to $300k including super, matched to level and experience.
