Newtown Gym has been on the vibrant King Street and part of the Newtown community for over 25 years. Located just a few minutes from Newtown Station, our club has over 1000 square metres of training space. Our members are as diverse as the local community that they come from.
We are currently seeking an experienced Membership Sales Manager.
This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated and proactive individual who can prioritise business needs while delivering an excellent customer experience. The successful candidate will have solid communication and problem-solving skills alongside a valuable knowledge and understanding of the fitness industry as whole. You will be expected to take charge of sales and come up with monthly marketing strategies as well as the day-to-day membership sales.
You must have experience in a similar role within the Fitness Industry.

A competitive base salary sales commission OTE $75k-$85k per year.

Essentials to be considered in this role:
Prior experience in a similar role in the Fitness Industry
A clear and demonstrable understanding of sales and marketing processes
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Good computer literacy and knowledge of social media platforms
An ability to work proactively and autonomously
Qualifications in Fitness and/or First Aid are also desirable but not essential.
