Get Curried, based in Salisbury Plain, SA is the creation of a couple of Aussie blokes who love a really good curry.

Mike Fuller and Greg Dunn love travelling and food. During enjoying our vacations and travelling around Australia we saw a gap in the Australian Indian Restaurants for tasty and fascinating Indian food that is rapid, convenient and reliably outstanding appetizing.

With our love for cooking and knowledge of positive qualities of a curry, we started working with Indian-born chef Narinder Paul. Get Curried uses locally sourced fresh ingredients and some Indian spices for making Indian curry. We also boast the best range of naan bread in Australia.

Get Curried’s store first opened in Munno Para and this is where Chef Narinder develops and perfects our recipes so they’re the best curries you’ve ever had.

Currently, we have a vacant position for another full-time chef to join out team at Salisbury Plain location.

Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and adjusting temperature of cooking equipment.
Involvement in menu preparation, budgets, stock management, and ordering of supplies.
Maintaining sanitation, health,



and safety standards in work areas such as clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Prepare and cook food according to patrons' instructions and work on several different orders simultaneously.
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers and grills.
Checking prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking various food items.
Organizing weekly specials in consultation with senior kitchen staff.
Clean, Stock, and Restock workstations.
Check the freshness of food and ingredients.
Develop recipes and determine how to present the food to the customers.

Eligibility Requirements
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR
At least three years of relevant experience as Chef may substitute for the formal qualifications.
At least one year of experience as Chef or similar role

Salary - $75,000 - $82,000 plus super
