The Venue - Mama Saan Bondi Beach.

This bustling venue is located in the heart of Bondi Beach, located just a few minutes from the beach. We are Japanese inspired Bar and Restaurant, with a passion for live music. With a capacity of 150 people, our venue is fast-pace and a great vibe. We are currently entering near stages of a renovation, as we breath new life into this venue.

We are currently on the hunt of a new Chef to share this exciting new chapter with. Our vision is for a contemporary Japanese tapas menu, shared with delicious drinks, with 4 nights of live music a week.

This role would be suitable for an energetic & passionate person who wants to create something special in a busy venue. With a outstanding hospitality focused team and ownership, you'll find this is one the best places to work.

As CDP you will be working along side the Head Chef to manage a team and train other kitchen team members. We have a big emphasis on team development and delivering a high quality product.

The ideal candidate will have
Over 1 year kitchen experience




A passion for valuable food, flavours and ingredients
Positive attitude
Responsible for kitchen compliance

You will be responsible for for
Working with the head chef to prepare and organize service
Lead and train new staff
Contribute to running the kitchen professionally and maintaining a clean workspace
Communicating between staff on service
