Reporting to the BU Commercial Manager, this portfolio role spans tendering, contract administration, procurement, cost control and claims across multiple civil projects. You will partner with delivery and finance teams, providing clear commercial advice and helping project teams protect value and deliver successfully.

Key responsibilities
Lead contract reviews and draft departures for tender submissions
Assess risk and opportunity across tenders and project delivery
Establish contracts, summaries and risk registers with delivery and finance
Manage variations, extensions of time, claims and contractual notices
Lead downstream procurement across subcontractors and suppliers
Review cost and performance reports and support monthly reporting
Draft clear correspondence to clients and the supply chain

About you
Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or a similar field




6 to 8 years in a commercial or contracts role with delivered civil projects
Robust knowledge of Australian Standard construction contracts
Practical cost control, risk and opportunity experience
Strong Excel skills. Jobpac, Docketbook or other ERP experience is practical
A clear communicator who can simplify complex issues
Comfortable travelling to project sites as required
