Sushi Maru Leichhardt We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Sushi Maru Leicchardt. As part of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality dining experiences for our customers.

Perks Task & responsibilities
Lead and oversee the preparation and cooking of a high-standard menu, including sushi rolls, nigiri, aburi, tempura, teriyaki, udon, and signature Japanese dishes in accordance with Sushi Maru's recipes and standards,
Monitor the quality, freshness, and storage of food ingredients.
supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and maintain adequate kitchen supplies.
maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment, workstations and storage areas.
plan menus and and develop new dishes




coordinate food preparation and cooking times to ensure meals are served promptly.

Qualification & experience
relevant cooking qualifications or experience.
knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced kitchen.
valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, organised and passionate about food.
