An established organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their cooperative payroll team on acontract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manageBAU payroll processing, and support a friendly team workplace.

Working within a high-volume payroll environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider payroll function.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of business-as-usual payroll
Interpretation and application of theSCHADS Award
Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
Managing leave, superannuation and payroll reconciliations
Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
Maintaining payroll data integrity and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Supporting the payroll team during busy processing periods

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:




Proven experience in a Payroll Officer position within a medium to large organisation
Demonstrated experience interpreting and processing payroll under theSCHADS Award
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Availability to commence immediately
