Cannington Location | Immediate Start | Temp to Permanent Chance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business based in the Cannington area.

This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent prospect , offering an attractive salary package of $80,000 + superannuation upon transitioning to a permanent position.

Working as part of a supportive Finance team, you'll take ownership of a variety of accounts payable responsibilities in a busy, high-volume setting.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
Preparing fortnightly payment runs and ad hoc payments
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Processing employee reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
Managing supplier queries and following up outstanding invoices
Ensuring accurate invoice coding and approvals
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting




Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider Finance team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Officer position
Experience processing high-volume invoices and supplier reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confidence working with accounting systems or ERP software (MYOB advantageous)
Good Excel skills and an understanding of AP processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in construction, building or a multi-entity environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
