We are partnering with a well-established Australian organisation seeking an experienced payroll professional to join their team during a period of payroll transformation and increased operational activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on payroll environment and can quickly become a valued member of the team.

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working alongside a supportive payroll team, you will be responsible for assisting with end-to-end payroll processing while helping the team navigate a busy period and ongoing system and process improvements.

The payroll environment is high-volume and requires an individual with the confidence and capability to work effectively within Chris21 from day one.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing
Managing weekly and monthly payroll cycles
Maintaining employee payroll records within Chris21
Processing new starters, terminations and payroll variations
Interpreting awards, entitlements and payroll legislation




Payroll reconciliations and reporting
Responding to employee payroll queries
Supporting payroll system and process improvement initiatives
Assisting with payroll projects and business transformation activities

About You
Proven end-to-end payroll experience
Robust hands-on Chris21 experience (essential)
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
