About the opportunity

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional permanent part time Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at ourMoran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney. Above award rates - from $28.16 to $30.38 base hourly rate!

You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.

You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work setting consisting of contemporary facilities and equipment.

Key Duties:
Plating food at mealtimes
Preparing food under the direction of Chef




Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
Restocking supplies and receive goods
Recording temperatures, complete checklists
Maintaining personal hygiene standards
Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills/Requirements:
Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their advantages
Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
A person who takes pride in what they do
Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
