Warehouse Operator (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

Edwards Group is involved in the manufacturing and supply of prepared culture media to hospitals, medical laboratories, food manufacturers and analytical laboratories.

We are currently looking for a casual Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Murarrie. A full time permanent role will be available for the right person.

No prior experience is required, however, previous exposure in our industry will be highly regarded. The suitable candidate must be willing to start within the next few weeks and available to work full time hours.

Full training will be provided, this is an exciting chance to work with a supportive team.

Car parking available on site.

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
General warehouse administration duties




Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders
Liaising with transport companies and booking freight
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures and rules
Delivering to local customers BNE Metro and surrounds
Good interpersonal skills

Mandatory Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 15kg
Reliable transport
LF forklift licence required
Positive communication abilities and English literacy and numeracy

Skills/Experience
Basic email and internet skills required
Warehouse pick/pack experience
Work with small team and meet tight deadlines
