Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Ward on a nine-week contract, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent prospect for an experienced acute care nurse to contribute to a busy surgical team in regional NSW. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic clinical environment while supporting patient care across a range of surgical presentations.

Preferred Requirements
Recent acute nursing experience,



ideally in a hospital ward or surgical setting
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
Robust clinical assessment and communication skills in a fast-paced setting
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to ward protocols
Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Post-graduate qualification or experience in surgical or acute care nursing
